ROYO is a material with rich stories, where heritage craft meets science. Inspired by Japanese Momigami and Chinese oil-paper making, we re-engineer cardboard waste into a durable, beautiful, and 100% vegan leather-like material. The name ROYO combines ‘Rou Zhi’ (揉紙) and ‘You Zhi’ (油紙).
